How do you let go of negative thoughts, feelings and emotions? It’s all about Mindset Mastery.
If you are dealing with a difficult situation or a problem that you are dealing with and in the back of your mind you feel an annoyance with other people, and putting blame on others, you take on negative energy. If that is the case then you are the problem.
Looking at others as the source of the problem because they don’t see things the way you see them, you can get stuck in negativity. And there is no action that comes out of that.
What you need to do is flip your thinking! Here is how to do it:
First you need to get a piece of paper, draw a line in the center and on one side write down all your negativity. The instant effect is you may run out of steam before you even finish and you will feel so much better by letting it all out.
Next, take a break, grab a coffee or tea then on the other side of the paper, start to reframe all the negative points you laid out from the other side.
E.g. “My manager just doesn’t listen to me” – write it in a way that you can take control of it, such as “I am not communicating my needs clearly enough” and you’ll see that there is just a simple action that you can do to remedy those negative thoughts, feelings and emotions.
You get clarity on the entire situation and with that clarity, you take progressive steps forward. Getting stuck in negativity, it does not serve anyone and it does not serve you.
Flip your thinking! You are 100% responsible for this, what is one positive thing you could take from the situation which then leads to an action and eventually into improved results.
