Influence – manipulation or persuasion?

“What do you understand by the word INFLUENCE?”

This is the first question I ask people whenever I talk about this subject, and I receive an array of different answers, from manipulation to persuasion. At times this means making you do things that you don’t want to.

So what does it really mean? And how do we increase our Influence?

One of the most important things is to spend time with other people, to “ASK QUESTIONS” and to seek to understand what it is that they’re feeling and their motivations.

By understanding people on a deeper level, you can then help change their beliefs, understanding, and perspectives about problems/challenges they are facing so that they can come to a different conclusion that they initially believed in.
