Right before Easter I went on a 3-day nature philosophy camp which was my way of disconnecting from everything. Like you, I really exerted myself during the first three months of 2021 and I was just exhausted, overwhelmed, burned out, etc etc. You get the picture because, honestly, who hasn’t felt that way?
What I found valuable was I went off-grid into the mountains for three days, and no phone reception, no nothing. Just with nature and another group of people to strip away everything and get really connected with what’s important and ourselves. And then also how we step up and be in service to other people.
And this is such an important principle because we get swamped in life, with expectations and duties and bills and all this stuff. And these absolutely needs to be dealt with, but you’ve got to carve out some time for yourself. And then once you do connect with yourself, and you see the “sh*t for the trees” and you see what’s kind of important there what’s important to identify what actions you need to take when you come back into the real world, which is really really important.
Maybe not urgent, but really, really important things that’s going to create the life and everything you want moving forward. So that’s what I’m doing? I would love to hear from you, what do you do to kind of connect with yourself to get that recharge to get that clarity like it might be going into nature to be spending time with friends or doing a sporting activity, whatever, what is it that you do for yourself to kind of connect yourself and be able to get clarity on things?
