I struggle with mental health… do you?

I want to be completely honest with you. I have been struggling mentally for the past couple of weeks.

It’s not because of one single thing but a confluence of many different factors. I got caught up in many little things and now I feel depleted.

Technically, I was doing all the things that I need to do, doing everything right but I just wasn’t looking after my own mental health.

As a coach, it does feel ironic expressing this as this is the one thing I do support people with. But that’s the biggest part of being a coach – having the self-awareness to realise and accept the reality of how I am I really doing, how I am really feeling without judgment.

Because if I don’t look after myself then I can’t support my clients and I can’t support my family.

Our tendency is just to push through all kinds of situations and if you keep pushing, it will break eventually!

I was almost at breaking point. But this is me, acknowledging it and then after the that realisation, I am now taking time to get support and doing what I need to do to get back on track.

I encourage you to do the same for yourself and to look after yourself in this very crazy world.

Hope you got something out of that video. Hopefully, this encourages you to take account of what you’re going through and if you are struggling, you can be honest and vulnerable about it. Now, if you want to find balance, do check out my last post:
